I'm Helen. I sing folk songs. I play fiddle. I wish I was better at concertina and I wish I'd started learning melodeon much younger!
I write songs & tunes both for myself and for commissions. Once described as a ‘rescuer of trad folk songs’, I rewrite/re-set unwieldy old folk songs that are no longer sung and make them into something more manageable.
